Formation for ordinary family life
You do not need to recreate school at home or complete every section. Start with Quick Start when time is short, then open the full guide when you want more context, conversations, or activities.
- Connect everyday learning with Christian formation.
- Adapt prompts to your child’s age, communication style, and actual classroom experience.
- Choose the week that best fits your family.
- Use practical ideas without pressure to finish everything.
Curriculum context, not a classroom schedule
The guides provide suggested Ontario curriculum context. They do not claim that every classroom teaches the same topic in the same week. Ask what your child actually encountered, then use the guide to support thoughtful Christian discipleship.
Why are there five guides each month?
Every month includes Weeks 1–5 so families have a complete, flexible sequence regardless of how the calendar falls. In a four-week month, you may save Week 5 for an extra calendar week, use it for review or catch-up, choose it when its focus fits your child, or skip it without falling behind.
Made for parents and caregivers
The Discipled Home is a parent-facing resource. Children do not create accounts or interact publicly with other children. Parents and authorized caregivers may create a limited child profile to personalize guide selection.
